The Arts District has long been a destination for the
latest and trendiest in fine epicurean dining.
Metropol Cafe, Zip Fusion, R23, e3rd, Ay Caramba, Church and State, Royal Clayton's and now the Arts District adds two more to this
impressive growing list.
Wurstkuche, located at Traction and Third, has daily servings of several kinds of sausage, including the classic, Bratwurst. The Gourmet additions include the Mango Jalapeno and among the Exotics category are the alligator and rattlesnake, we have heard so much about. Adding to the long list of sausages and toppings are the Belgian Fries with various dipping sauces. Many beers are available, bottle and draft. Belgium, Germany and yes, domestic brewskis are available. Wurstkuche is working out the best business hours, so call for the latest 213-687-4444.
Question!
How does a restaurant in a remote part of the Art District draw the attention of several thousand excited patrons to show up at its Grand Opening?
Without a doubt it would be from its stellar city-wide reputation.
At the much anticipated Urth Caffe’s Grand Opening, guests were treated to the full array of Urth’s special menu items. Long known for their organic coffee and teas the Caffe has built out the Arts District location located at 451 S. Hewitt St., as a commissary and restaurant. Vegetarian items available at both Wurstkuche and Urth Caffe.
