L.A. Derby Dolls vs. San Diego Derby Dolls
LOS ANGELES (May 2008) Get your Cinco De Mayo festivities started
right, and don't miss the ultimate battle for Southern California
roller derby supremacy. The match pits the L.A. Derby Dolls All-Star
team against the San Diego Derby Dolls All-Stars in a contest
for derby dominance in the southland.
The L.A. Derby Dolls' 2008 spring season has already proven to
be a spectacular success. Bouts are selling out full capacity
weeks ahead of time, so don't procrastinate, and purchase tickets

This grudge match will be held inside our 30,000 square foot
Doll Factory in Historic Filipinotown. And it's not just derby
going down under the Factory's roof: three different bands will
perform live, and more than a dozen local vendors will peddle
everything from art to clothes to fresh-baked cookies. Between
the brazen beauties on wheels, rocking music, and cool wares on
offer, L.A. Derby Dolls' bouts have become one of the most brutally
happening events in the city. In fact, we were recently named
Yelp.com's "Highest Rated Night Life Activity in L.A."
This time last year, the S.D. Derby Dolls dominated the L.A Derby
Dolls down in San Diego on a flat track. This time around, the
L.A.
crew is looking for revenge on our home turf. Now that they're
competing on the banked track, the odds are in the favor of our
Angeleno All-Stars. There's only one way to see how this version
